You deserve service that respects your singular experience. As a key member of the Virginia Career Works system, the Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board offers veteran-specific support and can guide you through programs that build on your service.
Career Readiness and Support
Veterans know firsthand that you can go further together than alone. That’s why our veteran career services provide you with a team that helps you reach your goals. As a veteran, you are eligible to work 1:1 with a case manager on a monthly basis for 6 months. Together you can work through resources to get you ready for your next role.

Training and Continuing Education
Your military service is the foundation of a long career. We’ll guide you through a wealth of resources and opportunities to continue your education or training and develop skills that compliment your interests and experience.
